Free Paintpod Compact from B&Q.

Thanks to Mandy Cook for alerting me to this deal.

As is states when you enter B&Q at the moment 'Free PainPod Compact' with ANY Dulux product so you can toddle along and but a tester for £1.38 and get the PaintPod for free.

It's worth is as the included 6x Duracell AA batteries are worth more than this price alone.

Batteries are included as I stated but to my surprise there IS an input for an external power source - its 12v DC 1.5 amp and is the standard sized round connector so if you have a power supply of this rating (or close amperage wise) kicking around you can use it to power this device.

So, it's designed to take the dedicated PaintPod paint pots - it's got a screw on design but there is nothing stopping you buying one proper pot of undercoat and then re-filling that pot with the paint of your choice - it IS worth spending a bit more on paint as they are thinker and coverage is better.. cheap paint is a false economy.

But even though I didn't look I am willing to make a gentlemans bet that the dedicated paint pots for this system will be a tad more expensive than the equivalent sized Dulux traditional type pot so there is a way of using this and saving money.

Not much fiddling about either.

I have no idea how long this deal is on for, but you had better be quick as when the paint testers (at £1.38) are out of stock you will have to buy the next cheapest thing.. but, if your like me you will take this deal - it's a nice day out in B&Q in any case.
