electronic Cigarette Modification No2
You cannot see from my first modification but I made a box which housed a battery, from that box I powered the first modification with a cable.
After some comments like 'You Look Like You Are Smoking Opium' I decided to refine this Electronic Cigarette modification, it is now much smaller - convenient and easier to use.
You want to see it don't you..

As you can see I have both of my modifications Side by Side and on a Meat Cleaver in order to give you an impression of the physical size.
The new mod costings:
Battery: UltraFire TR 18650 2400mah 3.7 volt 'Protected' x2 with charger £18
Component case: (Maplin) £2
Switch: (Maplin) £2
Atomiser Connection (Old original battery stripped out) £8
Why modify any electronic cigarette?
Well, the standard batteries last on average about 60 minutes and take the same amount of time to charge so you are constantly changing the things which is ok when you are at home but when you are out this can become a problem.
With my system I can make this modification last me 24 hours before I need to change the battery, I still use the original parts when in public as they do look cool but when in the office as I am most of the time this new modification is almost perfect.
I could improve on the switch as this is not perfect and will do once I find something suitable.
The Switch problem is due to the depth of most 'Push-to-Make' switches - as you can appreciate the size of the box is the problem so component sizes govern the whole thing.
The battery is too fat for this box hence the reason for the 'Window' I had to cut into the lid.
So, as long as you have a basic understanding of the way electricity is distributed and some Soldering experience this is a really easy modification to accomplish.
I used a Hot Glue Gun to fix the internals in place.
