Atomiser Cleaning.
I like to get my money's worth out of everything and the atomiser on the electronic cigarette has worried me since day One, as you can see I have been monitoring the health of my electronic cigarette atomiser since I started my measuring the resistance of the heating element.
You will also know that after 30 days there was very little difference in this measurement which means my equipment is still in good order!
I have been cleaning my atomisers each week by running hot water through them for about 20 sec's a time, because of the way these are made this will do them no harm at all - you are simple washing out the wick.
I think the wick could get clogged up in time with the residue from the juices and as the juices are water soluble washing out the wick can be nothing other than a good thing, which must prolong the life of your atomiser.
Once you have washed out this part blow out the atomiser from the threaded end until no more spray comes out and then either leave it on a radiator over night or put one drop of liquid directly onto the wick (open end which the cart goes into) and start to use it immediately - the heating element will dry the wick but please be aware that it way take 10-15 puffs before you will start to get a good flavour.
Which ever method you use make sure you always 'Prime' the atomiser with a drop or two of liquid before use after a clean.
And another thing - when you first get a new atomiser it will contain 'Primer' from tha factory - this tastes aweful but will soon burn off and is not harmful.
These atomisers do take a day or Two to 'Break In' so don't expect it to work at it's full potential immediately.
