It's a joy to visit the patients and play their favourite songs and basically cheer them up, some patients don't get any visitors and that's when we really come into our own - we like to make a fuss of those.

The station has been operating since 1974 and rely solely on donations to keep the service running, in the recent financial downturn HRN has suffered and as a result I wish to 'Do My Bit' to help ! I have decided to shave all of my beautiful hair off for this great cause and I am looking for people to sponsor me.

I aim to do the deed in May but will do it sooner should I reach my modest target before then, there will of course be a video and images of the deed being done for your enjoyment.
